BeanCast: Breakthrough in checkoff funded research

Drought tolerant soybean research has had its share of challenges. Researchers were able to develop drought tolerant plants that grew better during drought conditions, but grew poorly under optimal growing conditions. That is until now, Rick Stern, USB director from New Jersey and chairman of the production committee says with the continued support of the soybean checkoff, research has experienced a breakthrough.
