Just came across The Food Channel Blog, put together by a firm near where I live, in Springfield, Mo. Noble & Associates does some really cool marketing stuff for food companies, and the writing for their blog is generally very good. From the "About" page: Started in 1988, The Food Channel
The Food Channel is the one source you'll need for
global food news and resources. From recipes to book reviews to food
trends to pop culture commentary - everything foodie is contained right
here -in byte-size portions.
used to be square - oblong actually - and was mailed in an envelope
using real stamps. Readers back then were mostly chefs and food
marketing gurus. It was a great resource, but the times have changed.
Update: Okay, just for a laugh, you have to check out the comments to this post. Apparently, being named "foodchannel.com" is a recipe for confusion. Lots of computer-challenged people who watch the Food Network have found this blog, and are entering requests for recipes in the comments sections. Follow the link for such comments as, "need a Good Eats recipe for acorn stuffed squash," and, "would like a sauce that gos good with fish."
