David, thanks for mentioning my humble post. Thanks also for highlighting my point that Honda could use a blog to show not only the successes, but perhaps also the failures of ASIMO from time to time. The current social etiquette of blogging tends to demand an honest willingness to admit problems and drawbacks, and I think people might be all the more interested in ASIMO if they knew how difficult it is to develop a robot that can actually walk, run, identify voices, detect movement, serve drinks, etc. I agree with you that showing the faults alongside the better features tends to build legitimacy with the audience.
