Visiting two "I" states

Brownfield Ag News radio networks have affiliate radio stations in three "I" states:  Indiana, Iowa and Illinois.  I started my week (early Monday morning) in Indiana and early Tuesday morning in Iowa.  I'm visiting with Brownfield farm broadcasters, advertising executives, and advertising partners for the rest of the week.  What am I finding?  I'm finding that people are extremely upbeat about the ag industry and excited about reaching farmers using local radio.  Our advertisers are quite savvy about newer technologies available, including podcasting and blogging.  People are going more places to get the information they want and need today, and radio remains an important part of their customers day.
