Asoyia Media Day

Ryan Acterhoff and Jerry Passer While I was enjoying last week off, the rest of the Brownfield team was busy.  Jerry Passer participated in the Asoyia media day.  What is Asoyia?  Asoyia contains only 1% linolenic acid, which means no hydrogenation is required to maintain a stable shelf life and low transferable taste.

Asoyia's website answers frequently asked questions about the low linolenic soybeans that were developed at Iowa State University.  There's a map on the site showing delivery points and a profit calculator to estimate costs and profit of planting Asoyia beans on your farm.

Among others, Jerry interviewed Ryan Acterhoff with Pizza Ranch restaurants, a user of Asoyia ultra low-lin soy oil.
